Designed for beginners and intermediates, the academy offers an intimate introduction to the craft, combining expert education, hands-on experience and professional studio training in one focused programme.

Your first week is dedicated to understanding the art and discipline behind professional tattooing. You’ll be introduced to:

Professional standards and practices essential to working confidently in a studio environment.

FROM KNOWLEDGE TO EXPERIENCE

The second week brings everything together through practical, hands-on training in a real studio environment.

With guidance throughout the process, you’ll begin translating your knowledge into practical skill developing your technique, control and confidence as you progress.

    "I honestly can't recommend The Irish Tattoo Academy and Chloe enough! The two-week tattoo course was genuinely the best course I've ever done, and I'm so grateful for the experience. Week 1 - Theory: The theory week covered absolutely everything you could need to know, from the history of tattooing right through to learning about all the different parts of a tattoo machine. Chloe has an amazing way of teaching, she made what could have been a lot of complicated information feel so clear, straightforward and easy to understand. Nothing ever felt overwhelming, and she was always happy to explain things until everyone was comfortable with the topic. Week 2 - Practical: The practical week was just as amazing. Chloe was so clear and patient when explaining everything from lining and shading to the importance of professionalism and hygiene throughout the entire tattooing process. She made sure we understood not just how to tattoo, but the importance of doing it properly, safely and professionally. One of the things I appreciated most about Chloe was how professional but completely transparent she was. Coming up to the final exams, I genuinely didn't feel under pressure because of how well she had prepared us. I actually felt like I'd been doing the course for years, that's how good her teaching skills are! I never once felt like I had to put on an act or be uncomfortable. I could just be myself, ask questions and learn at my own pace. The support you get from Chloe, the other staff and your fellow students is honestly amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging, which made the whole experience even better.     "I honestly couldn't recommend Chloe's Academy enough. I'd already been tattooing for about a year before doing the academy, so I wasn't going into it as a complete beginner, but I knew there was still a lot I could improve on and learn. The difference the academy has made to my work and my confidence is honestly unreal. Chloe went into so much detail and helped me understand things I'd been struggling with for a while. I learned so much from start to finish, from hygiene and setting up properly to using the machine, different techniques and building my confidence.
